Chapter 8. Alleged physical anomalies

This chapter deals with claims regarding the environment in which the Apollo missions flew: conspiracy theorists have many misperceptions regarding the nature of space and have spread them so much that issues such as radiation and the Van Allen belts have become popular questions even among non-doubters.

Explaining the fallacies of these claims is an excellent opportunity to talk about the real nature of space and dispel these common myths.

This chapter also covers events that at first glance seem to defy physics in relation to radio communications, the behavior of dust and the inner workings of the Apollo spacesuits.
